Gino Fabbri Danny Fisher Comedy Madhouse

DANNY FISHER AND GINO FABBRI TEAM UP IN ROCK n ROLL MADHOUSE!

The Rock n Roll Comedy madhouse featuring a double bill of character delights, celebrity impersonator and funnyman Danny Fisher and PE’s own Gino Fabbri, rolls into town on the eve of the Priory Fare on Friday 29 May.

Music, crazy characters and a whole lot of fun combine in a special pre-fare marquis which will be erected at the school.

The combination of these two rubber-faced comedy chameleons makes for a very special evening of rollicking entertainment, as “The Voice” Danny Fisher performs offbeat impressions of famous stars from the likes of Ozzy Osbourne, Mick Jagger, Rod Stewart, Meatloaf and Roy Orbison to Bob Dylan and Elvis Presley.

Fisher is well known to Eastern Cape audiences, having been a regular stalwart draw-card on the early Sun International circuit days. Danny then later joined The Blarney Brothers with whom he toured SA for a long period.

His association with Centrestage continued when he fronted the Centrestage All-Star Band for the Elvis and Vegas hit extravaganza shows, both presented earlier at the Guild Theatre.

This is only the second time that Fabbri and Fisher will have appeared together comedically, their first outing last year culminating in two sold out evenings at East London’s Guild Theatre and well-deserved standing ovations for these hard-working entertainers.

So Fisher is joined by the equally unhinged comedy of Gino Fabbri who will present a mix of old favourites and some new rollercoaster segments in an old fashioned evening of music, mishap, mayhem and hijinks which will have you rolling in the aisles!

The playful assortment of songs, sketches, special guest artists and naughty fun is produced under the ambit of the “Rancid Punjabi’s Professional Shows and Betting Agency”, an organization not very well known for staging productions that run without a hitch!

Priory parent Fabbri weighs in with a unique brand of zaniness as the show-businessman and racketeer struggles to recover from some unexpected disasters, with unpredictable and irrepressible interaction between Fabbri and Fisher ensuing!

This is your chance to let your hair down and be thoroughly entertained by a ‘whirlwind of unexpectedness’.

The seating will be around 6-seater and 12-seater tables, with a bar and meals available on the night.

The show starts at 19h30 at the St Dominics Priory School, with tickets costing R140 each, R130 for 6 and discounted to R120 for 12 or more available through Computicket and from Wendy on 082-6616921.
