The Centrestage All-Star band is an extraordinary ensemble of musicians who place their emphasis squarely on high impact entertainment, vibrant personalities and authentic and confident audience interaction.

With a remarkable string of hit shows under their belt in Durban and the Eastern Cape, they are in great demand at top functions throughout the country, where they perform as a popular feature tribute band and/or stage a very impressive and enjoyable dance party.

The band often performs 3 x 45 minute party sets during the course of the evening – or an uninterrupted 2 ½ our dance set, or includes cabaret or comedy segments during the evening as required.

Once a client books the Centrestage All-Star Band, they tend to use them over and again. Examples of this are Renault, who has had the CASB performed at 4 of their last 5 dealer of the year functions in Sun City, Spar who have used them as far afield as Mauritius, Volkswagen, General Motors, FNB, Shoprite, Chamber of Business, numerous Sun International MVG functions ?and pharmaceutical companies around the country who use the band repeatedly due to the variety and appropriateness of their performances and the kind of responses they get each time the band plays.

Created and backed by ace production Company Centrestage which has produced no less than 25 shows seen by between 5000 and 100 000 people respectively.

Each member of the band has been hand-picked - firstly as a vibrant and confident entertainer - secondly as a multi-instrumentalist and top vocalist, which allows for a range of lineup potentials - and thirdly in terms of their musical prowess. This allows a variety of strong front-men to go into the audience and engage them directly – or to play musical characters during the performance – whilst the musicians swap instruments to accommodate this.

The band comes along with a highly experienced production manager who tailors their vast potential repertoire live as they perform specifically to their audience profile, the vibe in the room and clients function goal or obligation. This facet provides the communication layer between the client or event co-ordinator and the band - to ensure that the most professional final presentation is affected. Advice on the evening in terms of how best to integrate the entertainment into your function program, as well as assistance with cueing on the evening, are just a few of the additional services included.

Their music selection comprises of well- known popular favourites and interpretations of party songs appropriately selected from a repertoire from the 60s right up until the current chart toppers of the day, which engenders audience participation and sets a pacing which drives the dance-floor to its fun-filled climax.
